I took inspiration from Shigeko Kubota's installation, "Duchampia - Nude Descending a Staircase".  I like the fact that Kubota's artwork let's the artwork speak for itself. She uses the video to communicate her message, it doesn't depend on the audience's participation or location. Regarding the location,  I'd like to reference Runa Islam or Kutlug Ataman's artworks. In both their artworks, they use the location to put more focus on the artwork. In Runa Islam's "Project95", she puts the projector in the middle of the room. Thus, it automatically becomes a part of the artwork. The same happens in Ataman's "The Enemy Inside Me" exhibition. He places the screens showing his videos all over the room, in different positions. The room is dark with no lights. The room gets light only from the screens, this puts more emphasis on the artwork.
